Another in-house design was completed for the London College of Beauty Therapy. As the college was shut down through COVID-19, it was decided that it was an opportune time to completely overhaul of the existing building services.
Columbus Mechanical was tasked with designing and installing a complete new domestic water service through out this four storey building. New break cistern in the basement with a Stuart Turner booster pump providing water for the building.
Due to the complications of fluing boilers out of the building, two ACV electric boilers were tasked with providing heat for the AIC Silox cylinder.
We also re-run new pipework through the building. This had to be co-ordinated on a day to day basis, as we were having to re-route pipework throughout the existing building fabric.
A new PRIVA BMS panel was installed to control all the newly installed equipment.
